ICT IN EDUCATION

In my tutorial class, my lecturer ask us to go to library to find about something that related with ICT. Then, I chose the topic 'ICT in education'and I did go to library and I found some related references to my the topic that i chose . The first one is 'ICT DAN PEMBELAJARAN' written by Prof. Ng Wai Kong from Malaysia Science University. He said that "ICT is the better way in education as a technology to improve education system.
I think that is true. We already know that how technology in education system improve the use of computer from primary school until university students. Furthermore, we can get more information in the easy way. Technologies give us more advantages in our daily lives.
Prof Kong also said that ICT gave us benefits because it always gives the expected results, but the difficult thing is to make sure the process and the technology works together properly. The use of computer or the ICT in school actually is good to encourage pupils or students explore various information resources impact of their curiousity. The technology in the computer has like power point, microsoft word, excel, spreadsheet, and etcetera are useful to make the teaching and learning more interesting and more effective.
The other book is 'USING ICT in PRIMARY MATHEMATICS TEACHING' written by Mary Briggs and Alan Pritchard from British Library. Eventhough it is more specific on math, but it still talk about the education. They wrote that there are 5 major opportunities which the use of ICT is able to provide in order to support learning in mathematics. They are learning from feedback, observing patterns,exploring data,teaching the computer and developing visual imagery. (NCET, 1997)

The use of ICT in education makes students easier to understand about something new because students want to know more about something that they do not know before. They will search about something that they like to know more about it.
The purposes of teaching usingICT in education is to introduce new ideas which it is also involve new skills, to allow for practice, to encourage students learn more about computer and how to use it corectly .

COMPUTER ASSISTED WRITTING

For next post,we have to find about computer assisted writing. Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) is an approach to teaching and learning in which the computer and computer-based resources such as the Internet are used to present, reinforce and assess material to be learned. It usually includes a substantial interactive element. This url have many links in it. I can be one of the membership too. It's quite interesting to be there. I can create my own account too. It's also have forum to lets the viewers talk about the topics given.

WANT PLAY A GAME.....???

Hello, there… now I want to share about a game. The name of the game is ‘Sudoku Classic game’. It invented by the Japanese. Even though invented by the Japanese, but it is more famous among the world. In this game you need to be complete the grid so that every row, column, and three times three box contains every digit from one to nine inclusive.

This game is suitable for everyone especially for children in primary school and secondary school. This game tested you from how you managed to put the figure (one to nine) in to correct from so that each number will not be contrast to each number.

This game need you are patiently and you need to think critically in order to solve this game. This game not related to languages skills but it taught about how you are playing with the numbers to resolve the game. I enjoyed playing this game. So, if u all free goes and tries this game and I am sure that u all will enjoy play.

Hi there…..today I want to share some information about CONCORDANCE. In my class, the lecturer explains about concordance. We have exposed to concordance. The problem is I am not so familiar with topic but, I try my level best exposed the meaning of concordance and how does it help us to obtain sufficient information about the blogging.
With concordance, we can make indexes and word list; compare different usages of a word, find phrases and idioms, count word frequencies, publish to the web, analyze keywords and much more. This all are explanation about concordance.
Concordance is using for language teaching, literary and linguistic scholarship, data mining and a data dean-up, translation and language engineering, corpus linguistics, natural language software development, lexicography. My lecture gave us online quizzes in tutorial class. There are three quizzes ‘Kemahiran Asas ICT’, ‘Kemahiran Pertengahan ICT’ and ‘Kemahiran Lanjutan ICT’ and the quizzes are in Bahasa Malaysia. The quizzes are about ICT. The questions are easy if we familiar with using computer and know about ICT. Nevertheless, these questions are hard for me to answer. From this, I can understand that my knowledge about computer and ICT are less. So, I must work hard to learn is about computer and ICT. There are my marks in the quizzes…..

MY OPINION ABOUT BLOGGER……..

Blogger is a webpage from google. Everyone was familiar with this. Nevertheless, Im still learn about the function of blog. There are a lot of creative and interest things in side the blog. It is a thing that have more advantage to blogger users.

Let me explain my opinion about the blog that Im create my own. Blog is an amazing thing and I like it such as my friend. Can say blog that I create is my new friend for me. We can post anything that we like in side our blog. We can save the important things, can save our pictures and much more. We also can make an advertisement from the blog. Many people will view our blog and we can show our advertisement. From this, blog will help us to get the improvement to ur project.

In my blog, im just post the tutorial work that my lecturer asks me to do. It is like practise for me to learn about the function in blog. May be my blog that I create now is not too obtrusive. In future, I will make a wonderful log and I will make it as my diary. I said like this because I learn so many things from this blog that I haven seen before this. Therefore, blog is really a good thing and we must use it in a good way. Blog is really a GOOD FRIEND for me…!
